We, the members of the Annapolis Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., welcome you to our
website and extend the warmest bond of sisterhood.
For sixty-two years, the Annapolis Alumnae Chapter has been synonymous with programs that empower our
communities and lead to sustainable change. As the needs of our communities change with the economic,
political and social climate, our chapter stands firm in our commitment to provide programs that address
our National Five-Point Programmatic Thrusts:
- Economic Development
- Educational Development
- International Awareness and Involvement
- Physical and Mental Health
- Political Awareness and Involvement
We have made, and continue to make, significant contributions to the community through seminars, job fairs,
help to the homeless, college fairs, tours of Annapolis, museums and college campuses. Over $250,000 has
been awarded in scholarships and grants to students pursuing a college education.
We encourage you to explore the site further to learn more about our chapter's activities and involvement
in the Annapolis community. Again, thank you for visting our website.
Hattie M. Jones-Penn
